Introduction
Chengdu Foreign Economy Relations & Trade Service
Center (the former Chengdu Foreign Investment Service
Center), directly under the administration of Chengdu
Foreign Trade and Economy Cooperation Committee, is a
comprehensive service organization established by Chengdu
Municipal government, with an objective of improving the
environment for investment, the efficiency of handling
affairs and to speed up the steps of opening-up to the
outside world. A group of professionals who know well
about the investment policies, laws and regulations, and
the procedures of handling related affairs of the State
as well as Sichuan Province serve in the Center. The Center
has established good cooperation relationship with a lot
of celebrated overseas agencies such as stock agents,
law offices, accounting firms, etc. The Center provides
continuous service before, in, and after the investment
according to the international practice.
The Main Services Offered
1) Agent Services
l Acting as a legal agent to go through all the procedures
for establishing enterprises using Chinese or foreign
funds.
l Acting as a legal agent to go through all the
procedures for foreign firms or firms from Hong Kong,
Macao and Taiwan to set up representative offices.
l Acting as a legal agent for above mentioned representative
offices to go through formalities such as annual checking,
registering the changes, postponing and nullifying registration
l Acting as an agent for persons from abroad to
go through the formalities of postponing and changing
of working license, specialist certificate, invitation
letter and visa.
l Acting as an agent to go through formalities
of tax registration and tax declaring for foreign-funded
firms or the representative offices of foreign firms.
l Keeping in touch with the foreign investment
service organizations all around China and entrust them
to provide service when it is needed.
l Acting as an agent to go through procedures of
the permission of import and export operation rights and
other related procedures for all kinds of firms.
l Acting as an agent to carry out quality authentication
and products authentication services.
2) Investment and Trade Promotion
l Organizing and undertaking all kinds of exhibitions
and commodity fairs in China or abroad; all kinds of trade
and economic investigation, academic communication and
professional training.
l Entrusted by the government, organizing companies
or units preparing projects to go abroad to invite investors;
Acting as an agent to go through formalities for companies
going abroad for business promotion or investigation.
l Providing economic and trade information and
investment consultancy, self-operating or acting as an
agent in import and export of commodities and technologies.
l Carrying out raw materials
processing, products assembling according to the
assembly drawing, materials and accessories provided by
foreign companies as well as the compensation trade, and
operate counter trade and transit trade.
Personnel agency
l Acting as an agent for joint ventures and their
resident representative offices to select employees from
China, to provide personnel agent service, to assist to
carry out social insurance.
l Going through procedures of personnel transferring
and personnel management, act as an agent for carrying
out the formalities to regularize employees, scoring and
technical title assessment.
l Keeping in touch with foreign investment service
organizations all around China and act as an agent to
provide services for other regions.
